The nice people at Sightline.org might find this interesting, and almost no one else.
In the 4.5 years I’ve owned my little Honda Insight, I’ve put about 4930 miles per year on it… but the chart shows I did a lot of that driving in the first year or two, and then slowed down. I’ve driven a little more the past year since I’ve been (happily!) unemployed and had a lot more free time on my hands… but still, my driving hasn’t been out of control.
It helped a lot that during 2005 and 2006 I used the Vanpool to get to work on the eastside. If I’d driven all that time….. YUCK!
