I just had lunch at El Tajin on Broadway, it was pretty good. I think that’s a photo of enchiladas papantecas, which was scrumptious. Their on-tap beer choices are kinda lame, but the food is interesting. I hope they put La Cantina and that place above QFC out of business. The world needs more unique Mexican food, and less of the dreary stuff.
Galeria’s across the street from El Tajin is great, too; they say they’re “gourmet Mexican”, but the place feels more approachable than gourmet.
El Tajin is on my list to try. Try to get the brunch at Galerias – it’s one of my favorite finds.
